The Mandatory Picketing System (MPMS) is a custom written computer program designed to make managing picket activity a breeze. The system was designed to select each eligible member impartially and efficiently. It does this by:

Selecting members Random or,
Selecting them by Local or,
By Proximity to the picket site or,
By Political affiliation, etc.

Presently the system serves Locals in NY, NJ and PA, and can be customized to further meet your exact needs. MPMS is user friendly and it can be accessed concurrently from different workstations if you have a network.

Picket Site Information Form	Provides history of all picket sites used by the system. MPMS automatically prints the current site information on the ‘Notification of Service’ postcards for each member.
History of Address Changes	MPMS tracks change of address from sources such as post office, benefits office and membership request.
Five categories of disability	Members can be omitted from picketing due to: retirement, hospitalization, military service, etc. which cuts down on mailing cost.
Notice Periods with History	MPMS tracks four different notice periods which means members are given four different opportunities to fulfill annual picket obligation.
Receipt of Service	Each member is assigned a unique receipt number as proof of service.
Levy Fines	MPMS has an optional module for enforcing fines if a member hasn’t served after receiving all four postcards notice periods.
